Ah, a pelican after my own, aging, graying, grumpy heart. 😀 When an interloper decided to try to share a log that this pelican had claimed for its own, it let the visitor know he wasn’t welcome. Hmm. Kinda like how I am with other people. LOL! Taken in Grand Lake, Colorado this past weekend.

Of all the horses we saw in Sand Wash Basin last month, this one, Winchester, stole the show. He is simply stunning and those blue eyes, wow, they just pop! On this morning, he gave me some nice poses then trotted off to stay with his band.
